Adam Lambert
I intend to post something more substantive soon, but I just want to use my bully pulpit to tell you to pick up your phones and vote for Adam Lambert on American Idol tonight! It's easy. You just figure out what number to call (toll free) and then hit redial for 2 hours.Don't be complacent! Don't assume everybody will vote for Adam so you don't have to! Kris will get the Gokey fans!
Why vote for Adam? Well, let me tell you.
For one thing, Adam is CLEARLY the better singer and performer. You may not like his particular style, but really, is anybody going to remember Kris by this time next year? If he wins, he'll be the next Ruben Studdard. Who? Exactly.

Granted, Kris Allen is sex on legs, even despite the ridiculous faces he makes. But I have it from an extremely reliable source that Adam is an excellent kisser. For what that's worth.
Also, freaking Bill O'Reilly has made it into a culture war battle, and we just can't let that douchebag win. If you haven't seen it, he has been doing stories about how "Adam might be a homosexual" *gasp* and how Americans historically tend to vote for the outspoken Christians (like Kris Allen) on American Idol. The not-so-subtle subtext is that O'Reilly's rabid conservative haters should vote for the Christian so that the homo doesn't win. Really, can we let him do that? No.
Finally, most importantly, and what is actually motivating me: Adam is an incredibly sweet, humble, charming and talented guy. None of this fame has gone to his head. He deserves to win.

Hey, voting in NC here, the only votes I have gotten to go thru are on my land line, my Mom got 20 to go thru, I've gotten 0 on AT&T wireless.

I agree with you on the culture war argument, and the talent issue. However, I don't think Kris is forgettable, and will sell some records after the show.
Also, Adam and Kris have become good friends, they were roommates in the Idol House. Would like to have heard their midnight conversations.
Sadly, it's not a singing competition, but a popularity contest.
Kris Allen FOR THE WIN! I just don't like Adam. He's way too dramatic and I don't like and am unable to relate to his musicality. I think it's great that he's a nice guy and is most likely a friend of Dorothy, but he's just not my kind of entertainer. SO yeah, despite Bill O'Reilly, who is a HUGE douche bag, I hope Kris wins.

Here is the way I see it. I for one will not vote for Adam and am glad he did not win as this way Idol will not own him and he can be creative and sign with whom ever he damn well pleases. Rumor is that he is being looked over to play Spiderman in the upcoming Broadway production.... We will never hear from Kris again you watch

I just watched the show, with a day late but I am far from the US, and I don't agree with you kris is far from adam, looking and singing , he deserves to win.
the show was also very good.
